Appointed the Technical Director of the Energy Efficiency Fund

The Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF) has officially appointed Dmytro Syrykh as the Technical Director. Prior to this, he served as the Acting Technical Director of the EEF, bringing extensive experience in the field of energy efficiency.

As Technical Director, Syrykh becomes a member of the Directorate and leads the EEF Technical Office. He plays a key role in shaping both strategic and operational decisions. His core responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of best practices in energy efficiency, conducting technical assessments of projects, monitoring and analyzing the quality of energy efficiency measures, verifying projects post-completion, and facilitating independent verification processes. The Technical Director’s term of office is three years.

Dmytro Syrykh has been with the EEF since 2019, beginning as an expert before being promoted to Head of the Verification Department later that same year. He played a pivotal role in the development of the EEF’s programs, the drafting of amendments to existing legislation, and the revision of State Building Codes (DBN) and State Standards of Ukraine (DSTU) that govern energy efficiency and construction activities.

With over 15 years of experience in the housing and utilities sector and energy efficiency, including six years in managerial roles, Syrykh has a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise. He holds a degree in “Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation” from Poltava National Technical University named after Yuriy Kondratyuk, where he qualified as a civil engineer.
