The residents of the nine-storey building erected in 1976 from HOA Zlahoda in Lutsk complained about uneven heat distribution in the building: it was cold in some apartments, and very hot in others. So, they decided to apply for participation at the Energodim program in June 2020 and chose package A Light. They installed the individual heating point.
Their building has 144 apartments and 4 entrances, with 360 co-owners living there.

Savings
Every year the residents of the building will save 270,600 kWh/year or UAH 429,900 per year. This will reduce energy consumption by 11,6%.
Declared annual reduction of CO2 emissions is 70,4 tons/year
Each family saves, on average, UAH 2,049 per year or UAH 41,43 / year per m2.
“The last season average heating cost in the city made UAH 45,50 / m2, and the residents from the HOA Zlahoda paid, on average UAH 29,00 / m2 after the individual heating point was installed, which is about 30% less. In addition, during the last heating season there were almost no complaints about the unsatisfactory quality of heating in the apartments,” says Tetyana Plonska, the head of the HOA Zlahoda.
At the same time, the residents of the nine-storey building constructed in 1992 from HOA Myrne-18 in Poltava have also followed this path and already save money on utilities.
There are 282 apartments and 8 entrances in the building, with 556 co-owners living there.
In May 2020, the residents applied for participation in the Energodim program and implemented the following measures under package A Light: they installed two individual heating points, replaced and insulated heating pipelines, balanced heating risers and replaced windows in public places.

“For example, in February 2021, the co-owners of this multifamily building paid 24 UAH / m2 for heating, and the co-owners in neighboring buildings of a similar type of construction, but without the implemented energy efficiency measures, paid about 37 UAH / m2,” says Serhii Baksha, the head of the HOA Myrne-18.
