Despite the challenges of wartime, the Energy Efficiency Fund implements the “ENERGODIM” Program, designed to energy-modernize the housing of Ukrainians. Responding to modern requirements, during the war the Fund amended the Program to simplify the procedure and expand opportunities for HOAs.
Since February 24, the Energy Efficiency Fund received 127 applications (116 approved) for project approval, and 258 applications were received and approved for verification for reimbursement of partially or fully completed works within the framework of the “ENERGODIM” Program. 68 HOAs have completed their projects. During the martial law, the Fund compensated HOAs with UAH 529.6 million. Only in December 2022, under the “ENERGODIM” Program, HOAs received UAH 50 million.
Reduction of utility bills and CO2 emissions, improvement of living comfort, increase of real estate value – this is not a complete list of advantages of energy modernization of apartment buildings. The Energy Efficiency Fund compensates up to 70% of costs for works, materials and equipment (depending on the Package of energy efficiency activities). All information regarding the “ENERGODIM” Program can be obtained free of charge from the regional advisors of the IFC Energy Efficiency Fund Support Program, who accompany the HOA at all stages of participation in the Program.
The Energy Efficiency Fund not only implements the “ENERGODIM” Program, but also launched the “VidnovyDIM” Program. The pilot stage has been in effect since November 21 in the territory of four regions. HOAs receive 100% compensation for the costs of restoration of buildings damaged by the war.
