The EEF Participates in Recovery Construction Forum 4.0 in Warsaw

On 13–14 November in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition, the Recovery Construction Forum 4.0 took place — an international platform for dialogue on effective reconstruction in Ukraine.

The EEF was represented at the forum by its CEO, Yehor Fareniuk, who spoke on the first discussion panel focused on tools for stimulating Ukraine’s recovery and the potential of the construction sector.

“Energy efficiency is not a separate topic — it is the foundation of reconstruction”, noted  Mr. Fareniuk. “Rebuilding what was destroyed without changing our approach would mean missing the chance to create a modern and resilient country. Energy efficiency must become a standard of reconstruction quality — it’s not only about saving resources or money, but also about earning the trust of our international partners”.

During the forum, the CEO presented the EEF’s activities, highlighting that EEF has been implementing programs for several years that deliver tangible results — improving comfort, safety, and energy efficiency in housing.

“Today, we have around 2,200 projects, of which over 1,770 are already completed. This means thousands of insulated buildings, modern heating systems, new windows — and more than 600,000 Ukrainians who have already experienced improvements in their homes”, he emphasized.

Yehor Fareniuk also highlighted the VidnovyDIM Program, which follows the Build Back Better principle — “rebuilding better than before”.

“We have over 1,200 projects under this Program, of which more than 1,000 are already completed or partially completed. For many families, this means returning home”, said the CEO of the Energy Efficiency Fund.

He also showcased an example of a building restored under the VidnovyDIM Program following the Build Back Better principle.

The Recovery Construction Forum 4.0 brought together representatives of Ukrainian authorities, businesses, local communities, and international partners to strengthen cooperation, accelerate reconstruction, and develop long-term solutions for Ukraine’s infrastructure.

Organizers: Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and Premier Expo Ukraine, with the support of the Federation of the European Construction Industry (FIEC).

We thank the organizers for the invitation and the opportunity to present the activities of EEF on an international platform that unites partners for the joint recovery of Ukraine.
