121 communities have approved their own programs to support home-owners associations as of August 31, 2021.
The aim of the programs is to promote the establishing of home-owners associations and partially reimburse the expenditures of co-owners for energy modernization measures of buildings to reduce the financial burden on citizens.
The funding for approved programs makes more than UAH 213 million. This means that more than 24,3 thousand home-owners associations can enjoy the local support in implementing the energy saving measures in their homes.
Another 31 previously approved local programs do not require any changes / adaptations, 31 programs are in the development.
Local programs were previously analyzed by the experts of the Energy Efficiency Fund. And 90 programs were adopted considering the provisions of the Energodim program.
Also, in August, two memoranda of cooperation in frames of realization of the Energodim program were signed between the EEF and the city councils in Donetsk region, namely Druzhkivka and Kurakhiv.
In total, 230 memoranda of cooperation were signed between the Energy Efficiency Fund and communities within the implementation period of the Program from September 2019 till August 31, 2021.
In the third quarter of 2021, the Fund plans to sign memoranda with the communities of Cherkasy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi and Kirovohrad oblasts.
